My aim is to have fun, inspire and be inspired, by exploring and developing my own creativity and watching others flourish when I enable, nurture and encourage their desires to make and create!
In Exodus 31, God gave Moses instructions for the building of the tabernacle. In chapter 35 of Exodus, God names & lists the gifts He has chosen for His master craftsmen. They are clearly significant to the Almighty in building His tabernacle. I believe God’s creatives still have a purpose in the building of His church today!

I was invited to participate in this online worship event. It was a fantastic opportunity to talk about how the Holy Spirit works through me as I paint, whilst also, of course, painting!

Art and RE
These beautiful pictures were created during a series of Art lessons inspired by the Easter story. I had the privilege to teach RE to a wonderful class of primary aged children. We looked at the art of other artists, including my own Spring Cross and Forty days & Forty nights.
Children shared ideas and observations about the Bible accounts of the Easter story and the way different artists had communicated these events.
I was able to teach the skills and techniques I had used for my own artwork.
The children were then equipped to take on the challenge of communicating their own responses to the events surrounding the Holy Week and the Crucifixion.

Spirit Breakout...Created during a Regional Prayer Breakfast, on zoom. The Holy Spirit knows on bounds and my ministry has continued to develop during lockdown!

During our National Worship leaders teaching seminar, Jayne ministered with a word of encouragement and creativity. Painting throughout the day during our worship and teaching; and closing with a brief explanation about the artwork she had created.
As the womens' ministry at our church, we asked Jayne to facilitate an art evening for us with a spiritual focus.
There were about 12 women there and Jayne asked us to produce a piece of artwork based around a scripture. It felt very uncomfortable to start with for those of us who feel we have no creativity, but as we all worked side by side on different pieces of art, we enjoyed a wonderful fellowship and experienced a deep relaxation almost like a mindfulness exercise.
Jayne provided all the materials for us and at the end of the session we shared our work and why the scriptures meant something to us. I have vivid memories of the evening and look forward to inviting Jayne back to the women's group.
