153 large fish, in one net, after one very long night! Chapter 21 of John’s gospel, tells the story of the disciples’ miraculous catch! Though there are many references to such moments and fishing boats, I love this one and have captured the moment when the disciples realised who was calling the instruction from the shore. I have blended watercolour and acrylic paints, applied printing techniques and used hand and machine stitching to create the net.
